This event is open to all FYC Members, Sailing School Students, paddlers, regatta participants, and family & friends. There is racing both Saturday and Sunday. The Corn Roast Dinner will be Saturday evening after the racing.
2025 Club Championships Results - Aug 23 & 24, 2025
Congratulations to the winners of the three fleets which competed this weekend who went on to vie for the title of Champion of Champions. 15 boats with 24 sailors enjoyed a great weekend of racing.
The Fleet Winners were:
Rick Goldt – Laser Radial
Colin King & Marla Betts – Open A in Y-Flyer
Mark Anderson – Open B Fleet in CS-22
Champion of Champions = Rick Goldt
In the end, Rick Goldt took the Title with King & Betts second and Anderson third! Way to go Sailors!!

The Corn Roast: begins after the racing around 5:30 on Saturday.
*Please sign up with Bonita Magill by calling Five One Nine-453-3577 or by filling in the Online Registration Form as soon as possible so we have the correct amount of food!! (See your Club Roster in the Members’ Only page for her other contact info)
Fee: $15 per person (children under 10 eat free)

- Corn on the Cob
- Juice Boxes for the Children

- Desserts: Peach and cherry-chocolate cobblers with whipped cream

Club Championships Regatta Info
Our race committee always gives preference to water-based starts. If that is not possible, for instance due to inclement weather or a shortage of volunteers, land-based starts will be used. See the NOTICE OF RACE for more information.
- Registration: starts Saturday 8:30 am on the Green across from the Sailing School (please bring CASH if you haven’t registered online)
- Skippers’ Meeting Saturday: 10:00 am same area as Registration
- First Race: 11:00 am on Saturday, 9:30 am on Sunday.
- Last Race: no start sequence will begin after 3:00 pm on Saturday or 1:30 pm Sunday
Lunches
- Make your own Sandwich Lunches for racers and regatta volunteers will be provided
- Please bring your own drinks and refillable water bottles

Double-Handed = $60
Junior Single = $20

The 2023 FYC Champion of Champions is Kate Easton who raced a Laser Radial! It was an excellent competition weekend with a great showing by the FYC Sailing School Race Team also in Laser Radials. Well done everyone!! Hopefully see you at the Pumpkin Regatta at the end of September.
