Once again in 2025, the Commodore’s Cup was a Fun Commodore’s Pirate Fun Day and BBQ Event instead of a full regatta.  See details below 

2025 Pirate Fun Day & BBQ Invitation to All Ye Swashbucklers and Yer Crew.

Revised Date: Saturday, September 6, 2025

Time: 2:00 pm till 7 pm ish.

Location: Pirate Cove on ye treacherous Waters of Fanshawe

Put on yer finest pirate attire and bring yer sense of adventure as we navigate the treacherous waters in search of hidden booty. Ye and yer crew be embarkin’ on a thrilling journey, collecting playing cards at various pirate checkpoints. The buccaneer with the best poker hand shall claim the grand prize and eternal glory!

But wait, there be more! We be gatherin’ after our plunderin’ for a might feast of pirate Grub. We need to know who among ye scurvy dogs will be joinin’ us for the merriment and victuals.  Give us a hearty ‘aye’ if ye be comin’ by September 4th or face the wrath of the cooks. Send ye hearty message to Captain Jolly Winks (Commodore Stacey).

We kindly request a small registration fee of $10/per buccaneer to cover the costs of organizing this pirate extravaganza.  All doubloons collected on the day will be split 50/50.  50% to the swashbuckler team (2 or more) with the best hand and 50% to cover the cost of this mighty adventure. 

So, hoist yer colours, polish yer cutlass, and prepare to join the ranks of the Commodore’s Pirate Fun Day on Saturday, September 6th , 2025.

The pirates that survived the foray, please bring our own grog and somethin’ to rest ye wherry bones. Ye won’t want to miss a moment of this epic pirate celebration!

 Arrr, we can’t wait to see ye there!
