Wednesday night racing is an informal chance to get together on the water and try your hand at racing whether you are an experienced racer or new to racing.
Racing starts around 6:00pm-ish but this varies during the season so check the FYC Calendar for updated starting times each week.
A course is set on the exterior of the Race Hut wall so visible from starting line between race marks A&B. A horn and lights system in the Race Hut will help racers keep track of the race timing. Eg. A warning horn will sound at 10 minutes before the start. Then the 5 minute Start Sequence will begin with horns at 5 minutes, 4 minutes, 1 minute then at the Start.
Also note, if the weather is not conducive to racing on Wednesday evening, then Thursday may be chosen. Again, check the Calendar for updates.
